The FCA will hold it’s annual plein air workshop 2013 at Whistler BC
the world famous resort known for it’s natural beauty and
amenities. I’ve had a long history with Whistler and I assure you the land
is powerful! In August of 2012 the Whistler Arts Council had
me up for a three day workshop and I wished it was five.(rare for me) The mountain session was one of the best alpine paint experiences I’ve had…..and I’ve had many.
The surrounding valley offers grand sweeping vistas and intimate micro
studies of streams and foliage…”a drunkerd’s dream if I ever did see one”.
Along with myself, Michael Workman will be one
of the four instructors. He is one of North America’s treasures. A powerful and
soulful landscape artist you’d be fortunate to work with.
Keep mid September clear to hang out and paint with a hundred
or so like minded painters. The FCA URL will be posted soon.
